I am looking forward to the Football Tournaments starting again in February 2013. I also went to a football meeting last week it was great and i was able to ask questions and make suggestions. We are also looking at having a presentation evening in may next year.

Jean in came today pleased because her neice had had a little girl this morning this morning.

On Monday my carers Agnes and Tyes came round , I had not seen them for a week
We spent the day chillingout and listened to music. We listened to Boyzone, Take That and
Robson and Jerome.It is my friend Davids birthday on friday and he is having a party at his house on Monday.

Derek watched the Variety Performance show on Monday night
and really enjoyed it.He paticually liked the singers especially One Direction.
Derek also enjoyed watching Ashley and Pudsey who were on Britains got talent.
Derek went to the bingo on friday at the old fire station, he wasn,t lucky enought
to win but his sister won twice. Her prizes were a bottle of wine and a cake which she was thrilled with.

Firdale Gardeners

Today it was pouring down at first, and it was really cold so we decided to stay in and look at our photos of the garden over the year. We found some nice photos to put in the newsletter.  We've done some really good work - we grew lots of tomatoes and courgettes with help from Mary our tutor. It wasn't sunny enough this year for our tomoatoes to turn red but Poppy's Pantry made some lovely chutney from them. We've been planning what we want to grow next year - Vera says spring onions, and cauliflowers (to go with cheese sauce!). Annie says potatoes, Dean says carrots. We did try carrots this year but they got eaten by the dreaded carrot fly. Sue says she wants to grow more sweet peas, and Derek wants to grow more sunflowers. So watch this space next year!

i did   the cakes and   we  went to moss farm  for cakes  and I helped mum with a cup  of  tea. We did chatter box 5. I am helping  mum  today and going to have a  verey  good  time  -  we are going to  manchester  dancing  we will do carol   singing and  diseo.  i like the come dancing  and helping  my   mum   we will cook mark some cakes  mum is a  nice mum we   will  party  on     we did the  boxs   verey  goodd  thank you   dinner     thats  good .

Saxon by Johnathan Oswell

My favourite band is Saxon. They are an English heavy metal group formed in South Yorkshire in 1976. They have had 8 UK Top 40 albums, including 4 UK Top Ten albums. My favourite member of the band is the lead singer, Biff Byford who was in Blue Condition before forming Saxon. Their best song is 747, which featured on their greatest hits album in 1990. My favourite album is Unleash the Beast which was released in 1997. They are playing in Manchester on the 23rd of April next year.

Jean's Birthday

Last Wednesday was my birthday! I got some leggings, a newhandbag and a make-up bag from my sister. Hazel and I went to Riverside for a meal. I had chicken and a glass of white wine. Then we had some birthday cake for pudding.

Myweekend

Last weekend, I went to a fete at Hartford College. I bought some gifts for my family. I had a lot of goes on the tombola and some chocolates and shampoo.I also went to Northwich and did some shopping. In Iceland, I bought some sausage rolls and other things for the freezer.

Jean and Hazels Birthday Blog.

Today is my Birthday! I will be celebrating tonight with a  meal at the Riverside. I am really looking forward to it!  There willl be 12 iof us for the party! There is me, Jean and my sister Hazel, Carol and ken, Ruth and John, Roy and margaret, Keith and Julie, and Paula and pam.

We are looking forward to reading the menu and deciding what to eat fir our tea.

Firdale friends have sang Happy Birthday to me and presented ne with a cake. I made a wish when I blew out the candle.

I have had a  love song CD and and a clothing voucher so I can choose what I would like to
spend it on.

Today we have had a helath discussion with a community nurse. We talked about health checks and healthy foods. It was useful and I enjoyed it.

I am planning to listen to my new love songs album this evening to see what all the songs are like.

Hazel is looking forward to being with her nine sisters and three brothers tonight.

Hazels has had a great afternoon in the centre and really enjoyed the laughter she shared with friends.

Oncce we get home we are going to get dressed up for our night out.

Today we talked to Community Nurse Karen Brogan about healthy eating.
  I like tomato soup to warm me up in the winter.  I also like my Sunday Dinner. This usually has carrots, cauliflour, mashed potato, yorkshire puddings and gravy. My favourite sandwiches are egg sandwiches.

I have had a yearly medical check at the doctors. In one appointment I had my blood preasure taken, I was weighed and I talked to the doctor about the foods I eat and weather i was worried about my health in any way.  I was not worried about the check up and the doctor was nice to me and helped me to feel calm and not worried.

I am also happy to go to the dentist. I have ny teeth checked and cleaned. I like having my teeth cleaned at the dentist. I do not like the dentist when teeth are being taken out because it hurts but I still felt the dentist was looking after me there.

I also have some excercise. I like going for walks to Delamere Forest with my parents. We wrap  up warm and wear trainers so we don,t sliip over.

Even though I eat healthy foods I do enjoy eating sweets. But I know I should not eat too many as they are not good for my teeth.

I have done a lot this week, on monday i went to danewalk and watched a film called carry on cleo.The film was release in december 1964 the Carry on cleo is about ancient history but also a funny film. When i get home from day service i sit in my room and play music which makes me relax before my tea.

I went to a Halloween Party on Saturday. I wore a scary mask and a blood covered shirt. It was Tracey Radcliffe's party so there were lots of my friends there.

on saturday morning it was my birthday mum singing to me in bedroom  I had my shower and breakfast I had a piece of toast   I had DVD called Twighlight , likely lads and Benidorm plus Gavine and Stacey , perfume , 2 black pens and plain papper . silky scarf and commputer clearner in shape of a rabbit and chocolates.
went out with Adrinne and went to a baby shower . Then went back and had a chineses at home.  today I went to Damebridge mendical centre with mum  I had fast blood  test  mum took me at firdale.

Tim said he went to the cinema club weaverham yesterday and watched Uncle Buck. He said it was very funny and suggests people go and watch it.

Jason went to Manchester airport on saturday with 2 carers and saw  a virgin plane taking off and said it was really big.

Tracy read her ok magazine today and picked out some pop gossip ie Simon Cowell rejected Michelle Connor, Victorie`s shock revelation from before she was married to David Beckham and Kym Marsh speaks exclusively to OK about Jamie.

SOAPS

I was watching Emmerdale and Declan got married to Katie plus Chas married Dan. Both Gennie and Debbie went into labour.Jimmy had a fight with Carl over selling the buisness and house.Rumours say there is going to be a death but we don`t know who.I don`t like Declan because he defraued his sister out of her half of the festival funds.

Helping mum

Nicky helped her mum in the garden last saturday, picking up the leaves and put them in the green bin. nicky also helped her mum put the boxes out on Tuesday ready to be empted. Nicky also said she would be helping her mum to make a cake tomrrow plus helping her to clean the house. Nicky also said she will be going swimming tomorrow and saturday.

christmas shopping

Derek went shopping in Warrington on saturday with Lynn and Chris and traveled in the car. Derek looked round the christmas shop and they bought some christmas tree decorations.

Library Visit

On Friday I went to the library in Northwich. I went on the computer and watched videos of my favourite band Saxon.

Liverpool trip

I will help mum at the weekend.    Emma    is   good   for  winning swimming medals.    Today at  Firdale I cooked      some     cakes   and  cleaned   room. At home I cleaned the bathroom and  dished   up   the    dinner      on   thursday for me and mum. Last night I  went  to   blackpool   see the lights and had  fish   and    chips   and peaes. I saw the daleks  and   space    ship. I watched   gypsy weddding horses in blackpool and it was very good. 

When I was 10 years old I stayed in Blackpool in a caravan with my mum and dad. I went in a rubber dingy with my dad at fleetwood in the pool. Then went up the Blackpool Tower and i was sick because im scared of heights. I saw Ruth Maddock and Paul Shane in Blackpool. I went to see the circus with my mum and dad  to see the animals. At Blackpool I went on the fairground and went on the bumper cars. I went to the show to see Orville The Duck. My mum went on the swinging boat with my grandad, they were scared.
