On Saturday I went to Kelsall jumble sale. We had a look round the stalls then we had a go on the Tom Bowler and I won a teddy and a cup with Easter egg. On Sunday I went to Winsford town to do a bit of shopping.

Tim's Queen Vic History from Eastenders

IN THE SERIES BACK STORY THE SQUARE WAS BUILT AROUND 1860 DURING THE REIGIN OF QUEEN VICTORIA. ORIGINALL THE PUB WAS TO BE CALLED BALMORAL BUT AFTER THE DEATH OF PRINCE ALBERT IT WAS RE-NAMED AS A TRIBUTE TO THE MOURNING QUEEN. INTIALLY THE PUB'S EXTERIOR WAS PAINTED BROWN. THIS WAS LATER CHANGED TO A GREEN AND CREAM COLOUR SCHEME ONLY THEN GRAND MITCHELL SET FIRE TO THE QUEEN VICTORIA AFTER WHICH IT WAS PAINTED. FOLLOWING ANOTHER BLAZE IN 2010. THE PUB WAS FINE AND WAS PAINTED RED. IT'S CURRENT COLOURS ARE RED,GREEN AND CREAM. MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER WAS BRANDON WHO FELL OFF THE TOP OF THE ROOF WITH POLICE THERE.

Yesterday with Nicola Daffurn

We went to the church to look around, we've been to the pub for lunch chicken, potatoes, broccoli and carrots, we went to the shops to buy cakes. There was a statue of man in the bathroom with no clothes on. I would like to thank Denise Hewitt for her help we had a good time with Lady Mary.

Rae Williams Eurovision

In 2010 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Norway. There where 39 countries that entered. Germany won the contest with 243 points and unfortunately the United Kingdom came last with only 7 points.

Sue's Recommendation from Take a Break

Get the girls together and and head to Newcastle upon Tyne for a weekend of fun. Shop till you drop in Princess
Square or Grainger Street. Cross the Tyne for lunch, see some contemporary art or have a pampering massage at the Mal Maison hotel then head to the Quayside for cocktails, before dancing the night away! By Sue Jones

Jeans summer plans!

Me and my carers have planned to go to see an ice show in may!. We booked it and are going to see it in Manchester.

I would also like to go the cinema a few times as I enjoy going in the summer.

I went to Disney Land last year for a week and it was the best holiday ever, i went on all the rides! I would love to do it again!

I would also like to visit the sea side in Wales because I love going on the beach and having a look around.

I enjoy karaoke on a friday afternoon but used to love it when Paul played the guitar and sang with us, i used to really love singing Brown girl in the ring, i miss singing it!

Derek's visit to the Candle Factory.

On saturday, I visited The Candle Factory in Tattenhall. I was there all day and had a really good time!. I went with my sister and her husband, they had a look around while I got involved and made a cup holder for when I have a brew!. It's white with a little duck on it and I have used it! i Recommend the Candle Factory!

Rae's trip down to the river

Yesterday, I went to the river with my friend for a walk. We walked from Winsford to Hartford which made me very tired! We saw a rowing boat full of people having rowing lessons which was interesting to watch. I have had a really nice afternoon and would love to go on a walk again soon!

Meadowbank Lodge news

People from Meadowbank Lodge are sorting their computers out ready to start their own blogs soon but in the meantime .....

Andrew Bradshaw recently celebrated his 28th Birthday and brought in a lovely chocolate cake for everyone to share.

Everyone was involved in Dignity Day - the centre was open that day for parents and carers to go in and see what everyone was up to. They made a Dignity Treee and everyone made a leaf which explained one of their wishes. Some people wished for a car, some to live by the sea, lots of different things.

Sally Jones has found a cafe in Crewe that sells a cup of tea for only 40p! More details when we have them........

on saturday i went to northwich town center

to do some shoppig we went lceland and bought some really nice food l have had a really relaxing weekend and enijoyed a very nice sunday roast. we watched miraned a on dvd and l thought lt was very funny.

I'm going to the Valentines disco tonight at St Wilfrids in Northwich and I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends and listening to some good music. I hope they play some Robson & Jerome!

One Way In Northwich!

The new one way system in Northwich is ok but the cars and lorries go far too fast now past our building and sometimes even come up on the kerb if they want to turn left just after our Old Fire Station. We're getting a bit worried about it and need to all remember to go really carefully even on our own car park and the pavement just incase....

Some of us are having travel training to help us be more aware of dangers - that's good timing!

A spectacular family pantomime flies in to St Helens
ALADDIN!
The stage was very big. My favourite characters were the great powerful genie of the lamp and Princess Martini. I liked what the Princess was wearing because it was very sparkly. I also like dogs and enjoyed watching them in the pantomime. Jafar was the scary villain, I didn’t like him. I had a good day out with my family.
