This Blog is all about the people from our five day service centres - Dane Walk, Firdale and The Old Fire Station in Northwich; Meadowbank Lodge in Winsford, and Frodsham Community Day Services. Its about what we get up to, the things we like, and what we've achieved. These services are for adults with learning difficulties and are run by Cheshire West and Chester council. I went with my sister and her husband, they had a look around while I got involved and made a cup holder for when I have a brew!. It's white with a little duck on it and I have used it! i Recommend the Candle Factory!

Rae's trip down to the river

Yesterday, I went to the river with my friend for a walk. We walked from Winsford to Hartford which made me very tired! We saw a rowing boat full of people having rowing lessons which was interesting to watch. I have had a really nice afternoon and would love to go on a walk again soon!

I went to Winsford yesterday to bowling at the Lifestyle Centre after bowling we had lunch. I had two sausage rolls and a jam donut. When I was at home I watch Eddie Stobart Truckers on Channel 5 because Barry Williams said it was good. It was good and I think I will be watching it next week.
Meadowbank Lodge news
People from Meadowbank Lodge are sorting their computers out ready to start their own blogs soon but in the meantime .....
Andrew Bradshaw recently celebrated his 28th Birthday and brought in a lovely chocolate cake for everyone to share.
Everyone was involved in Dignity Day - the centre was open that day for parents and carers to go in and see what everyone was up to. They made a Dignity Treee and everyone made a leaf which explained one of their wishes. Some people wished for a car, some to live by the sea, lots of different things.
Sally Jones has found a cafe in Crewe that sells a cup of tea for only 40p! More details when we have them........
Bye for now
