SCHOOL DAYS !

Sarah Rathbone is continuing to work hard at her work placement at Wincham Primary School and by all accounts is a great sucess.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!

Congratulations to Antony who has started work at Shopmobility in Northwich as a volunteer. He works on a friday morning at present but who knows where it may lead.

It was very quiet here at the Old Fire Station at the beginning of June as many of the guys from here were enjoying the sunshine in Blackpool on the annual Holiday organised by Holidays with help. But those of us who were left behind were not going to out done and we took advantage of the smaller numbers and enjoyed visits to the Anderton boat lift and Chester. Well done to Barry who walked along the river from Northwich to the boat lift.

We have linked up with Castleleigh gardening group and Mid cheshire college in a weekly gardening project. We are still in the planting stage but looking forward to seeing the fruits of our labour later on in the year.

The Old Firestation football team hire Winnington Youth Centre on a Friday morning. On friday March 13th they were proud to support comic relief. The money donated was enough to buy 4 mosquito nets.

Bikes range from regular two wheelers to wheelchair adapted cycles. The activity is supported by staff from the Old Fire Station one of which has recently attained there leadership qualification.
